About the Program

Thank you for your continued support of the Japan Open Poker Tour (JOPT).

To ensure the continued proper operation of satellite events held at participating venues, starting with JOPT 2026 Sapporo #02 (beginning September 18, 2026), JOPT no longer accepts direct buy-ins (DBIs) for the Main Event and certain designated side events.

To enter the Main Event, players must hold an entry entitlement obtained through a partner-venue satellite or meet the participation requirements established for the relevant event.

However, some international players visiting Japan for a short stay may find it difficult to obtain a Main Event entry entitlement in Japan before the event.

Eligibility

This program is available only to Eligible international players visiting Japan for a short stay.

You will be required to present your passport at the event venue. JOPT staff will confirm your eligibility based on your landing permission information and other relevant details.

Even if you are not a Japanese national, you may not be eligible depending on your residency or stay status in Japan and other relevant circumstances. If you are unsure whether you are eligible, please visit the International Player Support Desk at the event venue.

Special Sponsorship Procedure

Eligible events, sponsorship contribution amounts, payment methods, and other conditions are determined separately for each event. Details will be provided at the event venue.

At the venue, please review the Special Sponsorship Consent Form. It sets out the applicable JOPT event, sponsorship contribution amount, invitation to the Main Event and grant of the Main Event entry entitlement, separate drink fee, and conditions governing use of the entry entitlement.

After reviewing the terms, you must personally sign the consent form and pay the sponsorship contribution. Once both the signature and payment have been completed, you will be granted a Main Event entry entitlement for the applicable JOPT event.

How to Enter the Main Event

1. Visit the International Player Support Desk

   Please visit the International Player Support Desk at the event venue.

2. Present Your Passport

   JOPT staff will review your landing permission information and other relevant details to confirm whether you meet the eligibility requirements.

3. Review the Special Sponsorship Terms

   Please review the Special Sponsorship Consent Form and sign it personally.

4. Pay the Sponsorship Contribution

   Please pay the sponsorship contribution established for the applicable JOPT event using one of the payment methods provided at the venue.

5. You Will Be Granted an Entry Entitlement as an Invitation to the Main Event

   Once the signature and payment have been completed, you will be granted a Main Event entry entitlement for the applicable JOPT event.

6. Register at the Main Event Desk

   Present your Main Event entry entitlement at the Main Event registration desk to complete your entry.

Important Information

• The drink fee is not included in the sponsorship contribution. It must be paid separately when you enter the Main Event.
• The granted Main Event entry entitlement may be used only by the individual who signed the consent form.
• The entry entitlement may not be transferred, loaned, sold, or reassigned to another person.
• The entry entitlement cannot be redeemed for cash, refunded, or transferred to another event.
• Eligible events, sponsorship contribution amounts, payment methods, and other detailed conditions will be provided at the event venue.
