We are pleased to announce that at the upcoming “JOPT 2024 Sapporo #02,” scheduled to be held in Sapporo, Hokkaido, this September, a promotion will be conducted where participants can win entry rights to the “APT Taipei Poker Classic 2024,” taking place in Taipei from September 27.

This promotion has been made possible through the business partnership between Japan Poker Union and Asian Poker Tour (APT). Japan Poker Union has been working to promote the success of Japanese players in international competitions by entering into player contracts with those who excel in domestic poker tournaments.

Since 2008, APT has been offering world-class poker experiences in Asia, with many Japanese players participating in their events over the years. This partnership is expected to further increase the number of Japanese players participating in APT events.

JOPT, one of the poker tournaments affiliated with Japan Poker Union, will now begin initiatives to send more Japanese players to APT events through this new partnership. As a result, JOPT aims to grow into a tournament that fosters greater international exchange.
